Balkh the northern province of Afghanistan is one of the ancient provinces of Afghanistan itself. The center of this province is Mazar-e-Sharif City. Mazar-e-Sharif city is one the famous cities of Afghanistan for having Rawza Sharif in it.
Rawza Sharif:
The Blue Mosque has located in Mazar-e-Sharif, a shrine attributed to Hazrat Ali (The Cousin of Muhammad (PBUH). Every year, thousands of pilgrims from inside and outside Afghanistan attend it.
This grave was discovered in one of the villages of Balkh during the time of Sultan Sanjar Seljuqi, and a monument was built on it by his order.
